Join us Saturday, February 12th 7pm - 9:30pm at the Millennium Center in downtown Winston Salem for an one time exciting evening of heightening your sensual awareness. In celebration of Valentine's Day we have crafted a unique sensual experience to heighten your five physical senses!
Our teams of experts and artists in the fields of (music, food, wine, visual arts, touch therapy, and meditation) will help you gently tap into your own innate ability to explore the beauty of your physical experience.
Let us guide you through tastings of diverse coffees, wines, and baked treats! You will also experience innovative explorations in music and sound, incredible body painted models, and a guided venturing into the world of massage (on yourself and/or on your partner).
The Art of the Senses play/workshop is our creative response in 2011 to a modern world that asks that we deaden or ignore our senses. From traffic noise, to Televisions and hours spent in the virtual world we are routinely distracted from our sensual experience. We have set aside this time to value, enjoy, listen to and pay attention to our senses. Gift yourself (and/or your partner) with a rare opportunity to turn it all off and focus on your senses!
By signing up for the workshop you'll be supporting Art Tasting and the work we are doing to increase our community's access to the arts. We are a local non-profit organization passionate about creating community through the arts and empowering individuals to explore their own creativity. We currently teach weekly interdisciplinary art classes in the Children's Home Day Treatment Program and actively support the success of local artists by creating opportunities for them to collaborate and share their work with the community.
